Never Say Never Half Marathon and 10K
There is still time to sign up to run or walk the Never Say Never Half Marathon & 10K! We have the only No-Judgment-Tap-Out Van so at any time along the course you’d rather be at the Party, we’ll pick you up and bring you to the Finish Line…and you still get your medal…we’re proud of you for trying!
We are also raising money for Nathan’s Place, a new community center for 7th - 12th graders in the Highland School District. Find out more and register here!
Don’t feel like walking or running…come for the fun! Cheer on the participants and enjoy local beverages from Tieton Cider Works, Treveri, Shorthead, and French Canyon Cellars! Taco’s Don Chayo and Lab Dogz will be serving up their yummy food! It’a a family fun day, you don’t want to miss!

Every year we figure out how to add some fresh elements, new vendors, new venues. The best holiday shopping in the Valley, and a great way to support local talent and hard work.

The Spring Equinox Concert with Larry Yes, Fiona Monahan, and Nick Fenton
Art, Music, and Community in the Mighty Tieton Warehouse. Portland’s Larry Yes signs songs of love designed to spotlight our interconnectedness. Yakima’s Fiona Monahan is gaining traction with her songs and lovely voice. DJ Nick Fenton joins in with his infectious tunes and grooves. This concert benefits Tieton Arts & Humanities and The Seasons/Yakima. This is a great family friendly evening. Tickets available here. Food trucks, beer, and wine.
Día de los Muertos
Tieton’s version of Day of the Dead is amazing family fun. Music, dance, history, a community altar, lots of terrific food, dancing horses, art, vendors, a huge tappet sand painting, and laughs for everyone.
The community altar and gallery will also be open Fridays and Saturdays, Friday, October 31 and November 1, 7, 8 from noon – 5pm in the Mighty Tieton Warehouse, 608 Wisconsin Avenue.

Vintage Trailer Rally
A fun group of women who own classic vintage trailers camp out around Tieton City Park for a few nights in the summer, and open up their trailers for visitors on Saturday. Lots of good camping stories, laughs, and camaraderie. It’s part of the Tieton Tag Sale fun, so make a full day of it.

Tieton Holiday Craft & Antique Bazaar
This year will be bigger, more festive, and better than ever. The Bazaar will be expanding out into the town square, and will include the City’s annual tree lighting in Tieton City Park.
Día de los Muertos
Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a vibrant community celebration honoring both los muertos and the beauty of life. Day of the Dead celebrations began in Central America, and have roots in indigenous and Catholic traditions. Sweet sugar skulls, bright colors, and bitter-smelling cempazuchitl (calendula, or marigold) flowers evoke vibrant, ephemeral life and bitter, inevitable death–embracing both.
Each year Tieton Arts & Humanities creates one huge community altar and we invite everyone to add to it. Visitors can bring photos of loved ones, write messages, and bring mementos, candies, or breads. This provides a special opportunity to remember the special people in our lives that are no longer with us.

Tieton Summer Nights
Tieton Summer Nights is back again this year! This community event has everything! A vintage car show, vendors, food, beer garden, games in the park and family fun all evening! We hope you can come out for the fun on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 in Tieton Square. FREE! Money raised helps support Tieton Arts & Humanities’ Crearte program for Highland kids.
10 x 10 Small Works Exhibition

Highland Community Days
Tieton Community Days is a terrific event to see old friends and make new ones.
This year, the fun begins on Friday evening, with a street dance 6 – 9pm.
The parade starts on Saturday at 10am. Vendors and fun in the park from 11 – 5pm. Street dance 6 – 9pm.
Sunday morning, the pancake feed is from 9 – 12 in the park.
Student Art Show
Student artwork from around the Yakima Valley is featured in the Mighty Tieton Warehouse Gallery, 608 Wisconsin Avenue. Hours are Friday and Saturday 12 – 5. Reception for the artists Friday, May 31 6:30 – 8.
