Mighty Tieton

Marquand Editions | Tieton

Marquand Editions | Tieton produces handmade art books for museums, collectors, artists, photographers, curators, and galleries. From single-copy albums to limited edition volumes, we can respond and create books that start from the unusual creative impulses of our clients.

The shop in Tieton is located at 613 Elm Street, across from the bandshell in Tieton Park. Our hours are irregular, but we are usually open on weekends. There we feature products we make in Tieton, and books we produce at Marquand Books in Seattle.

We also produce our stationery and gift line of merchandise in our Tieton facilities. With the letterpress shop, hand bindery, and association with iocolor for digital printing, Marquand Editions | Tieton employs production techniques from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Recently, we added a Smyth stitcher from the 1920s to our workshop. Too antiquated for volume production, it's just right for our low-run, high quality books.

Current projects include producing twelve copies of a large format photo album titled The Fool, featurning letterpress printing, tip-in palladium prints, and inkjet image pages by photographer Ron Reeder. This summer, we will publish a run of memory books on a pair of magnificent homes in South America, a book on an important collection of Western paintings, and several highly personal and intimate books of artwork and poetry for artists, who will be directly involved in their design and production.

You can see and buy some of our work at marquand.com/store, or through Etsy.
