The Portland Cello Project returns to Tieton for an evening show in a memorable concert hall--Mighty Tieton's grand apple warehouse. Come ready to hear what PCP is world famous for--refreshing, fun, and skilled performances of a full spectrum of music for cello. The show also features a video element, prepared just for Tieton, and a textile lecture (see below). Food, drink, and PCP merch will be availalbe before the concert and at intermission.

Felt is a humble unsung hero in our lives. Often overlooked, and frequently misunderstood felt has a rich history and an exciting future. Textile artist Janice Arnold will take you on a journey through time, sharing an overview of this fascinating material and 9000 year old tradition - through the lens of her travels, research and art. She will take you behind- the- scenes into her personal universe of felt, and show how her world-renowned installations ranging from Cirque du Soleil to the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum honor the past yet look to the future.
